Medicare Part B (medical insurance) is part of Original Medicare and covers medical services and supplies that are medically necessary to diagnose or treat your medical condition and that meet accepted standards of medical practice. This can include outpatient care, preventive services, ambulance services, and durable medical equipment.

In order to enroll or maintain Medicare billing privileges, all DMEPOS (durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies) suppliers, including pharmacy, must comply with the Medicare program's supplier standards and quality standards to become accredited.
Thrifty White Pharmacy offers a variety of durable medical supplies including crutches, canes, nebulizers and walkers. Pharmacy staff will instruct you how to use the equipment and answer any questions you may have. Thrifty White Pharmacy will also bill your Medicaid and Medicare insurance for these items.
Whether purchasing prescription medications or over-the-counter medications, you need to be aware of any negative drug interactions. Our pharmacists and pharmacy computer software work to prevent these interactions from occurring. Remember to let your pharmacist know if you are taking any over-the-counter medications or if you are receiving any prescriptions from another pharmacy. We are committed to your health outcomes and our goal is to prevent any adverse drug reactions.
Thrifty White Pharmacists are available when you have questions concerning your medications, or if you need assistance with purchasing over-the-counter medications and supplies. Our pharmacists will take the time to show you how to use the medications or supplies. Just ask to speak with the pharmacist when you are in the pharmacy or when calling on the telephone.

You have the right and responsibility to express concerns, dissatisfaction or make complaints about services you door do not receive without fear of reprisal, discrimination or unreasonable interruption of services. We will ensure that your concerns will be reviewed and an investigation started within 48 hours. Every attempt shall be made to resolve all grievances within 14 days. You will be informed in writing of the resolution of the complaint or grievance.
